Martin has worked in the health industry from 1986 - 1995, as an enrolled nurse in Orthopaedics and since 1995 as an acupuncturist and massage therapist. He has had teaching experience in both these fields.
Martin uses traditional Chinese acupuncture, shiatsu (Japanese massage) Tui na (Chinese massage) and remedial massage to treat back pain, neck pain, headaches, knee, elbow, shoulder, wrist and hip complaints. He has also enjoyed success with treating sinus, insomnia, morning sickness, indigestion, tinnitus, plantar fascitis and stress related health problems.
Martin graduated with a science degree in 1995 and has been a massage therapist since 1988. Martin tutored acupuncture students at UTS (University of Technology Sydney) between 2003 and 2008 and has also taught massage at Meadowbank TAFE.
Martin uses a combination of acupuncture and massage on most of his clients or just massage by itself if acupuncture is not your thing. He will give you good advice on how you can help yourself to get over your health problems and prevent new ones appearing.
In 2016 Martin published “Self Massage & 40+ Fitness” as a part of his commitment to putting you in the drivers seat with your own health and fitness needs. Martin believes you may be surprised at just how much you can help yourself with little effort or expense.
