Energy Healing

Energy Healing is an exquisite form of self-care, a
journey of learning and growing. This form of
healing believes that the human energy field
extends beyond the body and skin and when the flow
of this energy is obstructed or imbalanced, it
results in ailments and health problems. So the
main aim of energy healing is to restore the
balance of the energy field and facilitate healing
of the body and mind. It is seen as a natural
process of restoring the body, spirit and mind to
complete health. During an energy healing session,
different people will experience varying effects
such as deep relaxation and it may cause you to
fall asleep. The feeling is soothing and warm. You
could feel a mild tingling or throbbing sensation,
or even feel as though you are floating. The theory
is that when the energy is in balance, it will
automatically eliminate diseases and health issues.

Spinal Flow technique

Spinal Flow was founded by former chiropractor Dr Carli Axford. The Spinal Flow Technique healing modality supports the philosophy, science and touch of the spine and nervous system allowing the brain to return to is parasympathetic state (rest, digest & renew) and release chemical, emotional and physical stress in the body.

Using non-invasive and gentle hand contact on the spine, we source the 7 gateways and 33 access points to the rest of our nervous system to find blockages which would cause disease and affect our health. The technique creates an energy wave which flows through the spine and brings back flexibility, alignment, and connection to the rest of the body. It then allows it to function at full capacity to self-heal and come back to its inner wisdom: harmony and health.

REIKI

Reiki is perhaps the most well-known energy healing
technique. It helps to transfer the energy, known
as Qi, into the person’s body to promote healing.
There are fixed hand placements, but many times
practitioners may use intuition to help them remove
the energy blocks. Here the focus is attaining
balance between the seven Chakras which can be done
by touching the person or keeping the hands a few
inches over the body. Breathing techniques are also
used to facilitate healing.

Acupuncture is a 3,000-year-old healing technique
of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It improves the body’s functions and promotes the natural self-
healing process by stimulating specific anatomic sites–commonly referred to as acupuncture
points, or acupoints. The most common method used
to stimulate acupoints is the insertion of fine, sterile needles into the skin.
Traditional Chinese Medicine is based on an
ancient philosophy that describes the universe,
and the body, in terms of two opposing forces:
yin and yang. When these forces are in balance,
the body is healthy. Energy, called “qi”
(pronounced “chee”) flows along specific
pathways, called meridians, throughout the body.
This constant flow of energy keeps the yin and
yang forces balanced. However, if the flow of
energy gets blocked, like water getting stuck
behind a dam, the disruption can lead to pain,
lack of function, or illness. Acupuncture therapy
can release blocked qi in the body and stimulate function, evoking the body’s natural healing
response through various physiological systems.

Acupuncture is recognised by Major Health Funds
